The Solution for Spider and Reticular Veins
Asclera is a type of sclerosant used to treat spider and uncomplicated reticular veins. It is the only sclerosant approved by the FDA specifically to treat spider and reticular veins. It is injected into the affected vein and works by damaging the inner wall of the vein. This damage eventually causes the vein to collapse and over time, the damaged vein is replaced with tissue. Some patients require multiple injection sessions for optimal treatment success. Individual results may vary.
